Just A Short Note

I started dancing from the early age of four, Mum thought being heavy footed it would give me a little grace.  So off I went to Hillary Bishop School of Dance & Drama to do Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern Dance, I did become lighter in my stride and floated across the floor like a Fairy.  I managed a few exams and even had a part in the annual show, we had to tap dance to ‘Bob the Builder’ dressed in hard hats, checked shirts and dungarees.  “How embarrassing!”.  I then had a change of heart at the age of eight, when I discovered Ballroom, Latin, Disco and Rock n Roll.  This meant a change of schools so off I went to Jansu School of Dance.  I had a great girl partner who made the dancing fun, we took part in local competitions dancing as Juveniles and we represented the school in the Teams Supadance League competitions, the last year I was with the team we came second.  I have taken various medal tests, which I always managed to score commend and highly commended.  I even scored honours for my Rock n Roll routine.  I also took part in a couple of shows produced by the school. I have now moved on and now concentrate on just the Ballroom and Latin dances.  This sadly meant another change in Schools so off to County School of Dance in Reading this was in September 2006.  I am now being trained by Anthony and Zoey Price.  I also go to Dance Options in Cheam and Dancetastic in Essington. I also practice when I am not at lessons with my friend Danielle Toal we make up our own routines.  My favourite dance is the Samba as it can be a very fun dance.  I love competing and travelling round the country to competitions my parents are great Dad deals out the money and Mum’s the taxi taking me where ever I need to go.  I hope you enjoy the dancing as much as I do, because I love to dance.
